特色介紹

被評為國家三級古蹟的「明新書院」，位於南投集集永昌國小校園內。書院建於清朝時期，是南投縣四大書院之一。宮殿式的建築外觀、磚牆與燕尾簷，保留了往昔古色古香的風貌。明新書院也是文昌廟，經常有許多學子在考試前會來求籤問卜、求取庇佑，不僅是集集地區每年祭孔的所在地，也是來南投知性之旅不能錯過的人文景點。
